01
Who are real estate headshots for?
REALTORS® and real estate agents at every stage, from newly licensed to decades in, plus real estate teams, whole brokerages, and the mortgage brokers and property managers who work alongside them.
02
What makes a good real estate headshot?
It looks like you right now, on a good day, and it reads at every size: a thumbnail on a phone and a sign across the street. Warm enough that someone wants to call you, sharp enough that they’d trust you with the biggest thing they’ll ever buy or sell.
03
Where will I use my real estate headshot?
Everywhere: your REALTOR.ca and brokerage profiles, listings and feature sheets, signs and riders, business cards, social, your Google Business Profile, your email signature and your ads. One session covers all of it, with a crop for each.
04
How much do real estate headshots cost?
For one agent, a studio session is $250, plus $125 for each image you choose, the same as any headshot session with me. A team or brokerage is quoted on how many people and where: in the studio that works out between $162.50 and $262.50 a person, and it comes down as the team gets bigger. Tell me how many agents and where, and you’ll get a number back.
05
Can you photograph our whole brokerage or team?
Yes. A brokerage or team books as a day, at your office or in the studio, with everyone matched. At your office it’s five to ten minutes a person, and a little longer in the studio. I add new agents to the same set later.

Can you match the headshots our brokerage already has?
Yes, including photos another photographer took. Send me an existing headshot and I’ll match the lighting, background and crop to it, so a new agent sits beside everyone else like they were shot the same day. I’ve photographed one Edmonton brokerage’s agents since 2016 and one team’s new agents since 2019, each lit and cropped to sit beside the ones before.
07
Do you do real estate team photos?
Yes, in the same visit as the headshots or on their own, in the studio or at the office. For a team that changes, I build a composite: everyone gets an individual full-length portrait, shot with the same setup, and they come together as one team picture. Someone new can be added later and someone moving on removed.

How often should I update my real estate headshot?
When it stops looking like the person who opens the door: a new haircut, new glasses, a few years on. Some teams refresh every year, so every sign and profile carries the current face.
09
What should I wear?
What you’d wear to meet a client, in solid colours, and a second option. If your brokerage has colours, bring something that works with them. Looks are unlimited, so bring whatever you’re torn between.
10
Do you photograph listings or property?
I photograph the people. For listing photos, a dedicated real estate photographer is the one to call.
11
How long does a session take, and when do I get them?
Most sessions run 30 to 90 minutes, and some go up to two hours when there are a lot of looks to get through. There’s no time limit, and the price stays the same however long it takes. Finals arrive within a week of choosing them.
