Shannon I often feel like awkward dolt in photo shoots, but you wouldn't know it from the head shots I walked away with from my session with Ryan. The entire process was quick and easy, he provided fun, funny direction through the shoot, and I ended up with the happy problem of having so many good photos that I had a hard time picking my favorites. How is this different from personal branding?

Same session, further out. Personal branding tells the story straight; this one puts an idea in the picture: colour, light, a prop, a roll of film. See personal branding →

Can it grow out of a headshot session?

Yes. The clean one first, then the idea, in the same booking. Or book it on its own.

Do I bring the idea, or do you?

Either. Bring a reference, a colour, a prop, or nothing at all, and we work it out before the day.

Studio or on location?

Either, whichever the idea needs. The studio has the gels, the wall of light and the film camera; your place has the story.

How many images do I get?

As many as the ideas earn. Chosen together from the screen, like every session, and the finals within a week of choosing them.

How often do people book it?

About once a year. We shoot it all in one session and you choose what you need now. The rest stay in my archive, so when you want something new down the road, you can buy more from the same session.
