Weber does a lot of shirt-off, really attractive and ripped men portraits on a beach, etc. That is not me, and I don’t have a beach.

Then I found the Damon in his portfolio — dumbstruck, doing up his trousers, slightly caught in the act — and it had everything I look for: it was on the humour side, it had action, it had a narrative, and it involved a performance.

A simple build

It’s one of Weber’s studio shots, and one of the few, so there was no grain to fake and no daylight to chase. Wardrobe was all my own. Maybe another reason I picked this one — it was a simple build.
