Team headshots in Calgary

I come to your office.

I’m based in Edmonton, and I bring the studio to Calgary: lights, backdrop and a screen, set up in your boardroom. Your team gets a consistent set, everyone picks their photo before going back to their desk, and new hires are matched to it later. If you have people in other cities too, they can all share one look.

GEC Architecture staff portraits, photographed to one matching look

Who I’ve done this for

One look, more than one city.

  1. Group2. Their Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary offices, photographed to one look. For their Ottawa staff, I brought in a photographer I mentored through Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew, working to the same setup. Their new hires still come to me.
  2. RBC. Their Edmonton people photographed to match the look RBC uses in Calgary, booked through their Calgary office.
  3. Alberta Real Estate Association. Five sessions over four years, three in Calgary and two in Edmonton, all one set.
  4. GEC Architecture. Their leadership in Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto, then return trips to Calgary for new associates in 2025 and 2026.
  5. University of Alberta Alumni Awards. Award recipients living in Calgary, photographed in 2025 to match the recipients’ portraits from other cities.
  6. Mine Closure Management, the other way around. An engineer from their Calgary office, matched in my Edmonton studio to the company’s headshots shot in Perth, Australia.

How the day works

The studio comes to you.

I set up in a boardroom or an empty office: lights, backdrop and a screen. It’s five to ten minutes a person, and everyone picks their photo on the screen before going back to their desk. Retouched files arrive within five business days.

Nathan WaltersNovember 2023I discovered Ryan Parker Photography while doing a Google search just over a year ago. And am I ever glad I did! One thing was very evident when working with Ryan. He’s a premier-level photographer that has crafted his skills over the years. From his workflow, technical ability, artistry, and professionalism, he has it all dialled in. I highly recommend Ryan for anyone seeking a high-calibre, yet approachable, professional that will consistently deliver above and beyond. A great investment all around.
Andy ReynoldsJanuary 2026I chose Ryan for my headshots because of his acting experience and because his portfolio contained images that clearly communicated something, rather than just being a collection of smiley corporate vanilla. He immediately understood what I was looking for (and why), and helped me express it for his camera. We had the shots I wanted down in very short order, although I felt like he would have spent hours with me if that's what it took. The images were expertly retouched by the end of the week, and I couldn't be happier.
Shyam GaneshSeptember 2021Ryan is an absolute professional. I'm not normally comfortable posing for or taking any kind of photos but he made feel totally relaxed and at ease. His studio is professional and really well-equipped. I loved that I could see the photos as they were being taken, and that he used that to coach me on why he's asking me to do certain things that sounded weird. I also loved that we narrowed down the top photos right then and there, and that his touchup turnaround time was pretty quick. Super happy with my headshots and highly recommend Ryan Parker Photography!

Team headshots in Calgary: FAQs

Five questions for Ryan.

01

Is there a travel fee for Calgary?

Yes. Calgary sessions include a travel fee, which I’ll include in your quote.

02

Can you match headshots another photographer took?

Yes. I match the lighting, background and crop of your existing set, whoever shot it.

03

What if our Calgary office only has one or two people?

Either way works. GEC Architecture recently brought me down to Calgary for two new associates, and Group2 sent two of their Calgary people up to my Edmonton studio. We’ll pick whichever suits your team.

04

What about offices outside Alberta?

I’ve flown to Toronto for a client. Where I can’t be there, a photographer I’ve trained shoots to my setup, as I did for Group2’s Ottawa office.

Send me your headcount and your Calgary address, and we’ll plan the day.
